Privacy Policy
Effective date: 30 September 2026
RdyUp is designed to help parents and caregivers organise the information, tasks, reminders and practical details involved in family life.
This Privacy Policy explains what personal information RdyUp processes, why we process it, how it is protected, and the choices available to you.

- your name;
- email address;
- authentication identifiers;

Family and household information
You may choose to add information needed to organise your household and family life.
Depending on the features you use, this may include information relating to:

- school-related information;
- activities;
- payments and expenses;
- reminders;
- care handovers;
- teacher communications;
- Saved Items;
- notes and other information you intentionally add to RdyUp;
RdyUp is designed for use by parents and caregivers. Adults using the service are responsible for the information they choose to enter about children and other household members.
Content you send to RdyUp
RdyUp may process information you intentionally send or capture through supported features, including information submitted through family organisation tools and supported capture or forwarding workflows.
We process this information only to provide the RdyUp features you choose to use.
Support information
If you use:
- Contact Us;
- Report a Bug;
- Suggest a Feature;
- Account Deletion Request;
we process the information you intentionally submit together with the minimum account and household information needed to respond to or manage that request.
Payment and subscription information
RdyUp uses Stripe for subscription payment processing.
RdyUp may store limited subscription and billing-related information needed to operate your account, such as:
- subscription status;
- selected plan;
- billing interval;
- trial status and dates;
- Stripe customer/subscription identifiers;
- subscription renewal or cancellation information;
RdyUp does not store your full payment-card details.
Payment-card information is handled by Stripe.

We may process limited technical information necessary to:
- operate the service;
- authenticate users;

- investigate errors;
- prevent misuse;
- monitor reliability;
- troubleshoot problems;
This may include information such as application errors, request metadata, timestamps and other operational information.
We do not intentionally collect passwords, authentication tokens or sensitive session information through customer support forms.
2. How we use information
We process personal information where necessary to:
- create and maintain RdyUp accounts;
- authenticate users;
- provide household and family organisation features;
- display tasks, dates, reminders and Saved Items;
- support household collaboration;

3. Household access
RdyUp allows households to include authorised adults.
Information available within a household may be accessible to other authorised household members according to the permissions and features of the service.
Household Owners are responsible for managing who is invited to or remains part of their household.
RdyUp administrative access is separate from household Owner or Adult roles.
4. Children's information
RdyUp is designed primarily for parents and caregivers rather than for children to independently create and manage accounts.
Parents and caregivers may enter ordinary family-administration information relating to children where it is reasonably needed to organise family life using RdyUp.
Please provide only information reasonably necessary to use RdyUp, and do not add unnecessary highly sensitive information about children or other family members.
5. Service providers
We use trusted service providers to operate parts of RdyUp.
These may include providers for:
- hosting;
- database and authentication;
- email delivery;
- payment processing;
- application monitoring;
- security and operational services;
Stripe processes payment information under its own privacy terms.
Service providers may only receive information necessary for the service they provide to us.
6. International processing
Some service providers may process information outside the United Kingdom.
Where applicable, we rely on appropriate contractual, organisational or other lawful safeguards for international processing.
7. How long we keep information
We retain information for as long as reasonably necessary to:
- provide the RdyUp service;
- maintain your account;
- meet operational and security requirements;
- maintain necessary business records;
- resolve disputes;
- comply with applicable legal obligations;
Retention periods may vary depending on the type of information.
When an account deletion request is completed, information will be deleted or anonymised where appropriate, except where retention is required for legal, security, fraud-prevention, accounting or other legitimate purposes.
8. Account deletion
You can request deletion from:
Account → Account Management → Delete account
Submitting a deletion request does not immediately delete your account.
This allows the request to be securely reviewed and processed.
Deletion of household information may affect other household members, so household relationships must be considered before destructive deletion is performed.
9. Security
RdyUp uses technical and organisational safeguards intended to protect customer information.
These include server-side authentication and authorisation controls, database access controls and Row Level Security where used by the application.
No online service can guarantee absolute security.
For more information, see Trust & Security.
10. Your rights
Depending on applicable data-protection law, you may have rights relating to your personal information, including rights to:
- request access;
- request correction;
- request deletion;
- object to or restrict certain processing;
- request a copy of certain information;
- raise a concern about how your information is handled;
Some rights may be subject to legal limitations or exceptions.
You may contact us through the Contact Us section in your RdyUp Account.
If applicable, you may also have the right to complain to the relevant data protection supervisory authority.
11. Cookies, browser storage and optional analytics
RdyUp may use cookies or similar browser storage where necessary for:
- authentication;
- account security;
- maintaining signed-in sessions;
- essential application functionality;
With your permission, RdyUp uses PostHog to understand limited product and site usage and improve the service. Optional analytics remain off unless you select Allow analytics.
RdyUp does not intentionally send family or child information, or content you enter into RdyUp, through the approved analytics boundary. Session replay, autocapture and PostHog error tracking remain disabled.
You can withdraw permission at any time under Account → Policies & Privacy. Your analytics choice is stored as a browser preference on this device.
12. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy as RdyUp develops or where legal, operational or security requirements change.
Where changes are material, we will take reasonable steps to make the updated policy available to customers.
The current effective date will be shown at the top of this page.
